Another
popular Ketchikan tour is our Totem Bight State Park, Rainforest and City Tour,
all in one. Eighteen totem poles and a Clan House built by Alaska Native artists
in the 1920's await you in this majestic park setting located on the edge of Alaska's
famed Inside Passage. Listen to Native legends
As
you wind your way along Ketchikan's waterway ten miles north, your guide will
point out landmarks such as the Old Pulp Mill, Ward Cove Cannery and Guard Island.
Upon your arrival at the park you will be guided along a non-strenuous path through
a beautiful rainforest to a clearing right on the ocean. It
is not uncommon to see Bald eagles at the park and to hear the wisp of their wings
as they fly overhead.
Next,
you will enjoy the Russian Museum with its historic collection of guns, dating
from 1535-1868 along with displays of mammoth tusks, furs and ivory. This
tour also includes Ketchikan's city highlights. There are many stops along the
way for viewing wildlife if present. There are restrooms facilities available
at the Park. Tour
